Nepal has held a piece of my heart since long before I finally made it there in 2019.

I’ll never forget the warmth and kindness of its people, the honor of witnessing my dear friends Tania & Subir’s Nepali marriage ceremony, or the overwhelming sense of peace seeing Mount Everest from above so immense, humbling, and divinely beautiful.

Seeing the devastation there now is heartbreaking. Holding the people of Nepal close in my heart and praying for strength, comfort, and healing for all those affected. 🇳🇵

Honestly, some of my most proud work doesn’t involve people at all but rather animals and objects via film. Film allows me to let go of control. To not be able to review, fix or change the composition. It just allows me to be, in the moment, exactly where we should.
