Hey friends,
It’s been a while—four years, to be exact. Four years of silence. Four years of me staring at walls, talking to my dog Brodie like he’s a tiny, judgmental therapist, and occasionally thinking, “Maybe I should make something again.” Well, surprise! I finally am.
🖤 Comic: Revolver: A Love Story
This winter, I’m making a 30-page comic called Revolver: A Love Story. Noir, romance, s*x, violence, and a little chaos thrown in for good measure. Basically, all the things my mom said I shouldn’t do in high school. I’ve dreamed of publishing a comic since I was a teenager, and it’s finally happening.
🎥 Upcoming Short Film: Grave Choices
This spring, I’m tackling my first short film, Grave Choices. Picture Fight Club meets The Road. Identity, survival, questionable decision-making… all the usual fun. Ambitious? Yes. Slightly terrifying? Also yes. But isn’t that the point?
🎥 Past Film: Heroes of Nowhere
A few years back, I started a film project called Heroes of Nowhere. Didn’t get off the ground, but rewriting it is one of my big projects for next year. Consider it “creative homework.”
As I’ve gotten older, I feel a bit more pressure to actually put stories out into the world, and I hope next year is the start of bigger things — or at least slightly bigger than four years of staring at walls.
💼 Life, Photography, and Goals
Outside of all that, life’s surprisingly good. I’ve got an amazing and supportive girlfriend, Aleshia, who’s been my rock for three and a half years, a dog named Brodie who keeps me laughing, and a house I can actually call my own. I’m also getting back into photography — families, couples, engagements, or anything that looks good on Instagram.
Goals going forward: more concerts, more movies, more making stuff, and just enjoying life along the way. The gold doesn’t shine as bright without friends to share it with, and I want to spend more time laughing, sharing moments, and just playing with my friends again.
Anyway… more news coming soon. Thanks for reading, sticking around, or just scrolling here out of boredom. Either way, I’m glad you’re here.
