I finally ventured out after dealing with a bum knee the past few weeks. We went out on Saturday April 9th west of Alpena SD (a mile or two west of hwy 281) Thousands of Sandhill Cranes still hunkered down avoiding the high winds here in South Dakota.

The 2022 Baltic Sea Circle Winter Edition is underway. Curtis J. Keefe and I were scheduled to go but decided to postpone our trip until 2023.

It was a difficult decision but in late December we were assessing the Covid situation and made the call in early January that it would be best to wait another year.

This is a unique opportunity to advertise your business and/or products internationally. With professional promotions, images and video every step of the way.

We will be picking up a vehicle in the spring, prepping, modifying and testing the vehicle throughout the summer. Our shop is located near Hamburg and the team will be testing in and around Hamburg.

The 2022 Brookings Photography Exhibition is available to view on-line or in person in Brookings, South Dakota.

I was honored with two awards this year. "Frozen Falls Park" first place in the black and white category and "Sunset on the Cape" was awarded second place in the color category.

US Hwy 212 west of Watertown, SD. I stopped this afternoon after watching this effect continue from sunrise throughout the better part of the day. 1-5-2022

Sunrise this morning (12-27-2021) just south of hwy 212 on hwy 25 in Clark County. Blowing snow and single digit temps, I am familiar with this road and knew of a spot to pull over safely, get out of the car and take a few photographs.
