A humble shepherd tends his flock. His name: John Lemmon. Normally, his sheep are the picture of calm - munching sweet green grass, then flopping down at his feet for a good, thoughtful ruminate. Lately, though? Well... they've gone a little wild. Out of nowhere — BONK! — a headbutt sends poor John tumbling end over end down hillsides. His flock baaing in laughter as gravity does it's thing. Quiet nights are interrupted by constant bleating. This usually calm flock now scatters like autumn leaves in a whirlwind. John runs like a chicken with his head cut off trying to keep them together. "Something has to be done to calm these woolly beasts," he mutters to himself.
Can you guess where this story is going?
Artist's Note: I captured this scene at Rahinnane Castle. This amazing castle is actually in someone's backyard. Just pull up and hand the owner a few Euros and you get access to the ruins. We have had the most adorable kitten accompany us during our visit. He made the best tour guide until I discovered one of my acorn sheep in his mouth!
