First session in a courthouse was a success for my engaged couple and might I add - it was pretty spicy with all the poses we had to try! 🥵

Working and shooting indoors can be tricky, different lighting, different tight spaces and not using flash can be a challenge, however it also shows me a learning experience!

I completely forgot to post this cake from this previous weekend!

Quick story: Back in March I donated some gift certificates to the Woman’s Crisis Shelter to auction off at their “Walk A Mile In Her Shoes” event. A few days after the event, I finally received a message from the winners! So excited to put some creative flow into a new session, my new clients gave me a little background of their love story. I put together a fun day for them along with a special cake! The weekend starts to approach and unfortunately our plans had to be rescheduled but the cake was already ordered and because I am supporting a small business, I didn’t want to cancel the cake. So, here we are, enjoying a cake from a small business I decided to still support because we’re all trying to get by in hard times and I’m a firm believer in community over competition. But don’t fret, I have been talking to my clients to reschedule their special session and I will be ordering another cake! 😉

Super thankful to all my clients, amazing supporters and for the month of May. It was definitely a busy month for me, one that I was able to enjoy, absorb and have the chance to experience new things. June has just begun and I’m ready for what this new month has to offer! What didn’t make the video was a softball team and a college graduation, I’ve been a busy lady 😌
