She is going to absolutely KILL me for this buttttt it’s not everyday that my best friend enters her forties era AND what better day than today to post her birthday photos from the other weekend!!

This beautiful lady has been by my side through all of my high ups and damaged downs. She’s held me in ways a partner is supposed to hold their significant other in when going through a tough spot. She’s held me accountable, she’s told me things I didn’t want to hear and she’s also agreed with me in ways that may not have been correct. We can literally go months without talking and meet up one random weekend like no time has gone passed us. The crazy conversations we have will die between us.

Her spirit is one I admire, the love she carries for those that mean so much to her doesn’t go unnoticed, she is nonjudgmental, she actually hears/listens to what you’re saying and literally gives no F’s to what people say or think about her. She lives her life to the fullest in ways I don’t think she sees within herself - but I do.

Happiest of Birthdays to my bestie - love you!! 🤍

My feet have officially filed for divorce from me 😂 but I will be 100% be doing this again next Saturday!

Sydney & Brighton - this couple was the winner of a auction back in March from the Walk A Mile In Her Heels event! After our busy schedules and trips, we were finally able to meet and get their session done!

For my 35th birthday yesterday I got myself a new camera, not just any camera but my dream camera. Hard work pays off and this beauty was one in the making.

People may see the purchase but what is not seen is the nights I questioned everything, the setbacks that made me want to quit or the obstacles that tried to convince me I wasn’t good or capable enough. This isn’t just something I bought, it’s proof that hard work, consistency, and refusing to give up eventually pays off.

I’m proud of how far I’ve come, in my photography career and my personal life, but I’m even prouder that I haven’t let the hard lessons define who I am. There’s always more lessons and hardships to come, ain’t nothing but a little bump in the road.

So, here’s to me and to you and to anyone else who may feel defeated - don’t ever settle for less, work as hard as you can, remember to enjoy the moments and make as many memories as you can!

I celebrated my birthday with many birthday wishes, loved ones around me and the best birthday hug from my kids. Thank you to everyone who took their time to wish me the best, it truly means so much! 🤍

When I tell you, the literal amount of times we’ve rescheduled this beautiful couples session…it’s been unreal haha with how the weather has been here in Western ND in the last few weeks, we just always had to make up their session on a different day and honestly - I’m so glad we did because these images turned out so beautiful!

Can’t wait for their wedding this fall! 🤍
