Every time I scroll past this image it stops me. Maybe it's the way I can see him looking into the future with a quiet confidence, or the way the weight of years of graduate school sits so naturally on his shoulders. He earned every bit of it.

The end of an advanced degree is unlike anything else. The sacrifice it takes, and the version of yourself you become on the other side were both felt in this session.
