Yesterday was my third Stranger Session, and I seriously had the best time.

Stephen and Rayli stepped in front of my camera as complete strangers, not knowing what to expect. Watching them go from those first few moments of nerves to being so giggly, laughing, joking, and becoming comfortable with each other was such a fun experience to witness.

Their personalities came out so quickly, and seeing their genuine smiles and the little moments throughout the session made this one so special.

As a photographer, these are the moments I love capturing — the real laughs, the unexpected connections, and the memories created between two people who started the day as strangers. 🤍

But the question everyone wants to know… what happens next? 👀🤍 Stay tuned…

Hey everyone! 💛

I just wanted to apologize if I’ve been a little slow getting back to messages lately. I promise I’m not ignoring anyone! 😅

I’m doing my best to respond to everyone and get everything done in the order it needs to be done while juggling two jobs 🍽️📸, being a full-time college student (plus clinic days 😵‍💫), running all of the Through Anlyssa’s Lens pages, and trying to have at least a tiny social life somewhere in there. 😂

🌸 Mother Stranger Session Applications Are Now Open! 🌸

Being a mom can be one of the most rewarding experiences, but it can also be hard to find time to make new friendships. That’s why I’m excited to introduce my very first Mother Stranger Session!

This session is designed to bring together two moms who have never met before and give them the opportunity to connect, share stories, and hopefully walk away with a new friendship. ❤️

Whether you’re a stay-at-home mom, working mom, single mom, new mom, or somewhere in between, this is a chance to step outside your comfort zone and meet someone who understands the joys and challenges of motherhood.

✨ What to expect:
• You’ll be paired with another mom based on your application.
• A fun and relaxed photoshoot experience.
• The chance to make a genuine new friend.
• Beautiful photos to remember the experience.

📸 Cost: $30 per person if selected.

Spots are limited, and not everyone who applies will be chosen as I want to create the best matches possible.

🎉 STRANGER SESSION #3 IS COMING! 🎉

Who’s excited?! Because I know I am! 🤩

Another two complete strangers are about to meet for the very first time in front of my camera, and I seriously cannot wait to see how this one unfolds. Every session has been so different, and that’s what makes this project so special.

Will there be instant chemistry? Will they become friends? Maybe even something more? 👀 You’ll have to wait and see!

And if you’ve been waiting for a sign to get your guy friends to sign up… this is it! 😄 We can always use more male applicants, so send them the application and let’s find them a great match!

I also wanted to let everyone know that I’ll be pairing more people very soon! I promise I see all of your applications, and I’m taking my time to carefully match people based on compatibility rather than rushing the process. If you’ve already submitted an application, please don’t submit another one. I still have your original application, and multiple submissions just make it harder for me to keep everything organized.

Stranger Session #2 Update ❤️

I know so many of y’all have been waiting for an update, so here it is!

I will try to get another update in about 2 weeks to see if anything has changed.

As of right now, these two are no longer talking.

Of course, that’s not the ending everyone was hoping for, but that’s the reality of putting two complete strangers together. Sometimes a connection grows into something more, sometimes it takes time, and sometimes it simply becomes a meaningful experience.

That being said… I still can’t get over the chemistry these two had during their session. From the moment they met, everything felt so natural. They laughed nonstop, bounced off each other effortlessly, and made it easy to forget they had just met.

No matter what happens, I’m so thankful they trusted me to be part of this experience. Watching strangers step outside their comfort zones and create real moments is exactly why I started Stranger Sessions.

I don’t even know where to begin with this one. From the moment Izzy and Owen met, they made this session so much fun. What started as two complete strangers quickly turned into nonstop laughter, playful moments, and some of the most natural chemistry I’ve had the chance to capture.

As the photographer, I couldn’t stop smiling behind the camera. They kept me laughing the entire session, and watching them become more comfortable with each other minute by minute was such an incredible experience. Nothing felt forced, it all happened so naturally, and that’s exactly what makes these stranger sessions so special to me.

It’s not just about taking pretty pictures, it’s about creating an experience, capturing genuine connections, and seeing what can happen when two people step outside their comfort zones.

I’m so grateful these two trusted me with this experience. They absolutely made this session unforgettable, and I loved every second of documenting it.

Now… the question everyone has been waiting for…

Did they actually hit it off? Did they exchange numbers? Was there a spark?
