Wildflower + Whimsy Photography Making Time Stand Still... My name is Rachel and I am a professional natural light photographer based out of Waverly, NY.

My style is relaxed and fun, and I promise to do more than take your picture. I will capture the essence of who you are, and the unique dynamic of your family. A typical session will last 1 hour at a location(s) of your choice. If you don't have any place in mind I can offer suggestions. (Any location more than 25 miles outside of Waverly, NY is subject to a travelling fee.) You can expect to have

a lot of fun and laugh a lot. You will leave with the confidence of knowing that I captured some great memories. After the session your images will be uploaded to my digital darkroom where I will enhance each photo to bring out the natural beauty of you and your family. Your images will be uploaded to an online gallery where you can order prints to be shipped directly to you, or, if you choose, a cd with all of the enhanced images is available for you to purchase at an additional price. If you choose to purchase the cd you will receive a photo release form giving you the rights to reproduce the photos you decide. This year I will be offering twenty minute time slots and you will receive high resolution digital downloads of all edited images.

Please do not book unless you know this date will work for you. In recent years I’ve had several instances where I have offered mini sessions like this and people will book and then ask to reschedule at the last minute. I get that emergencies and illness happen, but fall is a busy time of year for photographers and it’s hard to fit in sessions when we have very little open availability.

There will be a $45 nonrefundable retainer due at booking with the remainder due the day of your session. Comment below with the time slot you prefer:

Hello friends it is I, your friendly neighborhood photographer. 📸

I’m here to share some news with you about my life. If you’ve been around for a while you know that I homeschool my kids and have since 2016. The last two years we’ve done and online curriculum because it was easier with me working full-time. I did realize last year that they just weren’t getting what they needed from the online curriculum so this year we decided to switch to book work again, but that doesn’t really mesh well with working full time. So as of next week I will officially be home with my kids again.

I’m going to be doing all the things to help bring in income, and I’m hoping to get a significant portion of that income from photography. I love working with you all, and my heart is so happy when I’m holding a camera.

With that being said, is there any interest in fall mini’s this year? I’ve already seen some leaves changing!

Did you know I offer in home sessions? If getting everyone dressed up and wrangling them all to a random location for photos stresses you out we can meet right at your home!

Dance parties, ice cream treats, chasing bubbles, or running through the sprinkler...if it's something that your family enjoys together we can make it happen! Low-key, laid back, and lots of fun for the littles.

I had so much fun with Grace and Aidan tonight. Do you ever meet someone and just know without a doubt they are a good person? That's these two.

Grace brings sunshine to every room she enters, so it only made sense to capture these photos at Bradley’s Country Creamery's sunflower field. And even though tonight was the first time I met Aidan I could tell he's one of the good ones.
