Frida is available for adoption at City of Waxahachie Animal Services

Frida is close to 9 years old, and through no fault of her own was abandoned on my street. Officers with WAS were able to trap her, and she is at the shelter awaiting her forever family! The staff at WAS has been amazing, and have shown Frida kindness, compassion, and care…possibly for the first time in her life.

Frida will need time to learn that homes are safe, that people are kind, and that love is unconditional. She is full of hope, excitement, and loves a good butt scratch!

She is tiny at under 40lbs, and would love some fattening up!

Frida would love to find a family! Especially one that is home a lot as she adjusts to life after being abandoned and neglected. Please consider visiting her if you are looking to add a companion to your family!

WAS is open Monday-Friday 8-5, and has an adoption event coming up!
