Celia and Connor’s love is gentle and tender, rooted deeply in their faith.

This sweet couple met through a college ministry, and in three months they’ll say “I do.”

I cannot wait.

There’s something so grounding about watching beauty come to life from the ground up.

Elizabeth of Acre Wood Flowers doesn’t just artistically arrange flowers - she designs her gardens and grows them. Every bloom begins as a seed she’s nurtured, and every stem is handled with such thoughtfulness.

Her knowledge of flowers runs deep, but it’s her care and attention that make her work unforgettable.

Photographing her branding session felt less like a “photoshoot” and more like witnessing a story - one of patience, creativity, and calling. Each image became a reflection of the artistry and heart she pours into her craft.

Elizabeth, Acre Wood Flowers is more than a business - it’s a picture of the way you honor beauty in the everyday. And I’m so grateful I got to capture it.

👉🏼 Go follow if you want to fill your feed with beauty and inspiration.

📸 And if you’re a small business owner dreaming of images that reflect your heart and story, I would love to create that with you too.

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day?
Quietly sneaking away.

Just the two of you.
Just golden light and a deep breath.

Here’s why I love it:
• Your first real breath together. The whirlwind slows. You see each other - not just as “bride” and “groom,” but as husband and wife.
• The light is magical. No matter how stunning your venue is, nothing compares to that glow right before sunset. It wraps around you, softens everything, and turns ordinary moments into heirloom portraits.
• It’s a memory anchor. Years from now, when life feels busy and loud, these photos will take you right back to the “just us” of your wedding day.

It’s only 10 - 15 minutes, but it’s always worth it. Because a reception goes by in a blur… and golden hour gives you a pause button that will provide beautiful memories & images for years to come.

Newlyweds: What’s the one moment from your wedding you wish you could relive?

There’s something quietly meaningful about a well-set table. Every flower placed, every menu printed, every name card tucked beside the charger—it’s an act of intention. A quiet kind of hospitality that often goes unnoticed in the rush of a wedding day.

But I notice.

I love photographing tablescapes not just for their beauty, but because they reflect something deeper: care, creativity, and welcome. Someone dreamed of this. Someone made it happen. And to pause and preserve that? It’s one of my favorite parts of what I do.

Isn’t it wild how something as small as a candle or a folded napkin can make you feel something?

What would your dream tablescape look like?

A big THANK YOU to Noah ( ) for hosting/leading this Editorial. It felt like a breath of fresh air. I got to create freely, meet some really talented people, and be reminded that “this is why I do what I do.” I am very grateful.

I’m drawn to places that feel like they have a story to tell. Quiet corners. Hidden gates. Roses blooming wild through iron fences. Moss-woven live oak trees. An off-path old fishing marina.

I recently took these in Charleston, and I can’t stop thinking about how much beauty exists in the unnoticed, the tucked-away, the not-trying-too-hard corners of the world.

Sometimes I feel that way in business too - like the growth is happening quietly, beneath the surface, even when no one’s watching.

This is what I want my photography to feel like: timeless, a little hidden, and deeply human.

Anna Davis doesn’t just play the violin - she speaks through it.

Watching her play was like watching something unfold that didn’t need words: deliberate, tender, full of quiet strength.

These aren’t just headshots. They’re a portrait of presence. A way of seeing what can’t be heard, but can still be felt.

This is what I love about photographing artists: it’s not just about documenting a face. It’s about honoring a calling.

Hannah and Nathan’s wedding at the Historic Robertson Homestead was intimate and meaningful. The dogwood trees were in full bloom, the spring light was soft, and the whole day felt calm and unhurried - just right for making memories.

Surrounded with about 50 of their closest family and longtime friends, the day unfolded with laughter, a few sweet tears, and the kind of touching moments that stick with you.

You could feel the way Hannah and Nathan tenderly love each other. And their wedding reflected that perfectly.

From the moment I met Rebecca and Ray, I knew their wedding was going to be something special. They come from two incredible families, full of warmth, laughter, and that signature Italian energy.

Their ceremony was pure elegance. And then came the reception… Wow! I loved the traditional Italian dance that included everyone in attendance.

Rebecca and Ray, your wedding was a dream - equal parts classy and wildly fun. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and spontaneous dance parties.

NEW BLOG POST (www.HiddenPearl.photography/Journal):

I have had the honor and absolute joy photographing the Griffin family for years. Engagements, a bridal session, weddings, family photos... and now another engagement and wedding.

They are so much more than legacy clients; they are dear friends.

McKenna is one of the sweetest souls. Watching her grow from a high school girl into a beautiful woman has been incredibly special. And now seeing her with someone who cherishes her makes my heart so very happy.

I couldn't have dreamed up a more perfect day or location for this engagement session. McKenna and Dan - I’m over the moon for you both. Counting down the days until your wedding!
