Been meaning to share these images… This young woman was one of my Girl Scouts back in the day and I’ve been her bus driver for a few more years than that. She’s raided my food pantry and camped out on the couch for sleepovers with my daughter countless times. Back in 2009 never did I imagine that one day I would be taking senior pictures of my daughter’s classmates… Over the past 12 years as a parent I’ve watched these young people grow up and become individuals in their own right and these days as the photographer I tried to capture what I know them to be… this young person here wasn’t afraid to show me who they were.
