Oh baby, it’s time for your newborn portraits! But when should they come in? We know that adjusting to a new baby is hard, you need your time to adjust and welcome them to the world! ⁠
We always suggest bringing your baby in for newborn photos 7-10 days after they’re born. Book your session right around your due date and then adjust if necessary! There’s only a short amount of time that they’ll be this little, and we guarantee you’ll want to remember it!⁠

All those little things that you don't like in photos can sometimes be the easiest things to forget about! Our tip today is as soon as you arrive our studio, take your phone out of your pocket, Apple Watch off, hair ties off, and anything else you don't want in your photos. Doing this as soon as you come in will ensure your photos will look cleaner, and have less distractions!

All the little things that happen in between poses is where the gold is. The moments where smiles, laughs, and giggles come out (because sometimes it feels silly to get your photo taken!!) is where the photos of your kids just being themselves come from. As much as we love a pose, we love the candid, in-betweens a little bit more!

We know, it's early!! But, here's the math to make it all make sense. You only have three weeks in between Thanksgiving and Christmas, and you know how fast it goes! If you're planning on sending out cards, or want you pics before Christmas, our recco is to book in September or October for Holiday photos.
