Rodedawg Images The fun of Discovery, finding The Unexpected FUELED by Interesting Places. I'll post Photo & Video of where I've been & link to zenrp, com Rallies & events.

On any Journey, to any destination, we are told or made to believe, that the faster you get to where you are going the more you will enjoy that Destination JUST get there as fast as possible: I DISAGREE

The discounting of the Journey is Just plain Wrong. Getting off that SuperSlab Known as The Interstate Highway System & onto U.S. Highways, Byways & Historic Routes, such as US6, US1, US12, US20,

US30 & the Would Famous US ROUTE66. Most of these parallel the Interstate Highway System. The fun of Discovery & finding the unexpected, FULL of interesting places, as someone has said A LONG STRANGE TRIP!!....

IT'S THE JOURNEY, NOT THE DESTINATION!!.... of course the Destination is involved without It, there would be no JOURNEY!!...

Uploaded Here will be the Places, Things, What & Where throughout the State(s), The Country, National Park & Bike Week(s), Rallies and all I have met and seen. While having a Lifelong interest in Photography, did not pursue it until I left the Army, at this point just an avid Photographer. In early 2000, I got more involved with photography, This was a way to alleviate the stress that was involved from the Gulf War, also by 2003 could not be fully employed as illness & Injuries caught up with me. Since I could no longer work, but could still ride(not sure how long), I thought why not, combine my love for Motorcycles & Photography. This would get out of the house & be Creative & MOST Importantly have an OUTLET for the Crap from the Gulf War even if I do not make anything from it..... more to come. I hope you will enjoy the Photos, Videos & All
I have Upload here & on www.zenrp.com.

I've been so busy getting things ready, my van, so I can take it down to Rockwell North Carolina to help with my Sisters Estate.

On Wednesday the 23rd November my Brother-in-law James Daly has passed and is now with his wife in paradise.

I and Shirley Burch Rodewald are good to go for now, later to deal with the emotions, I'm again a little mad, a lot sad, a lot just plain numb with all that I and as the family has to deal with, on my part got my Sprinter Van 90% done the last thing is the AC Condenser, but don't need, At the moment, during the rest run the Alternator light was going on and off not sure if it is the belt, battery or Alternator, the van dose have 399,### miles on the Van, the belt looked good and no noise from the Alternator the big question is which one or all or a combination that is bad. Yes I know a long sentence.

It's just who I am, to do the work get thru it (the mission) then deal with the entire emotion stress of this.

The main reason I can do this is my faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ my rock and salvation, and the knowledge I have gained in this life.

Here's a photo for those who stop for them.😁😁

Ya know when you get caught up in Life, the big stuff, in short we are in the midst of it, as in an earlier post my sister, Debra Daly had passed away, then We; Me, Dede Sovell, Lori Ward both my sisters went down to Rockwell to help with Debbie's estate and with My Brother-in-law James Daly, much to do,
lots and lots, well put it this way all of us Veterans know all too well; PAPERWORK, FORMS, ETC...., talk about a time sink. On

Jim, my brother-in-law has had health issues for a long time and last week he had to go to the hospital and we found out he had pneumonia and now is in hospice care. As with all end of life times nothing is set in stone for now we take it day by day, if he becomes stable enough, example get meds by mouth, he can go home and we three can be there and will there to help him all the way home.

This will be a long haul as the laws here in North Carolina are very different. Could be one to four or more months until the estate is closed.

I can only speak for myself, here forward, I'm doing good, I'm hurt, I'm kinda mad, & I'm kinda sad, But both physically & emotionally I'm good for now, the pain, loss, & The what if's, are present: I will be able to come to terms with them soon enough, and I know is will sound Will sound like a cliche, there is things needed to be done and we three my sisters and me have work to do.

but most of all I love how my family has come together to help when help is truly needed and no thought for oneself, which myself, I hope for anyone's standard, As The True Love Of Christ.

I'm headed back home to get things there in order, then I'll be headed back here to get things ???? Lots, way too much to list and convey, many variables.

I know many of my family (both blood and by tears) will have questions, you all have my # call me.
text or messaging, may take a bit to get a response.

With all this commotion on a couple topics or more in this current election that surrounds and clouds the judgement of US, we the people, first, the 2ed Amendment,
Second, is Abortion,
Third Healthcare,
There are more these can be solved by an Amendment to the constitution as our Founding documents made provision for such Changes to our United States Constitution.

Let the discussion rip!
I don't care how nasty, bad, or outrageous anyone gets in the discussion, I only asked that We The People would not demean One Another.

Note:
Of the More than 11,000 amendments to the Constitution of the United States have been proposed, only 27 have been ratified.

Yes it's rare for an Amendment to be ratified for reasons, I do not fully understand or can articulate.

This is what I understand why we have what we have because of Our Founding Documents,

In our Founding, which started well before 1776, and those who created our Constitution wanted to make sure that: Mob Rule(s), a Tyrannical Administration(Government), or Other Forces would make Changes by passing a simple law(s), in order to weaken Our Constitution.

These could be passed in a simple majority of 51% and start to erode or destroy the Freedom We Have, that is Unique To Us and not to The Rest of The World.

In essence we can challenge, Nay, The Right to Speak Our Minds To Those Who We Vote To Represent US, We The People.

For those who we vote in Are NOT to be beholden to Any Party, Other Powers, Special Interests Groups, or Other Forces Period....

Let the discussion rip!

Been doing some rearranging (Cleaning) and came across this from 2017, what a great time and a great venue, Old York Farms.
As I have traveled this country as a motorcycle rider & a somewhat ok photographer.
I've been amazed how most people I have met over the last 20+ years especially them in the southwest and deep south and many other places were so giving to one such as I, who opened their homes, property, places, and hearts to let me in to get rest.
I thank these for the uncommon hospitality I received, so many I cannot and will not name them, I know and they know who they are.

The first 16 years I traveled by motorcycle and did it old school, sleeping where and when I could most of the time up a fire break road, St. Parks, rest stops yes even in Chicago the intersection of I 94 & Kennedy Ave. Illinois or just the side of the road.
I was traveling around 30,000 to 40,000 miles a year on my Motorcycles at one time mostly between 2011 to 2020, on either side of those years a bit less upwards of 20,000 miles, this was a way to relieve myself of the effects of war & army life stress in my being.

What Amazes me is what we ALL have in common? Here in this land and across the world 🌎 or at least where I've been.

As Americans We/Some are kinda naive and think all the world is like US, Nope not even Close, all people's all over the world 🌎 want to be let alone to our thing, without interference as long as we/I: Don't go out of our way to do evil towards others.
When I lived in Germany, in the U.S. army, just shy of 5 years , I met people from across the world who were legal immigrants to Germany, they all had aspirations to make a better life in a county freer than where they came from. Although Germany and or most of Europe does not have ALL the freedom we do here in The U.S.A..
It still amazes me this Country is a collection of many independent States(Nations), 13 to start with after the War with England or the British empire. They were able to create such an amazing place we call The United States (Nation we use states) of America and to have the freedom we have one of which freedom to travel anywhere across this cast land.
I have been in many parts of our world 🌎 where this is not the case, Europe and all the States(nations) and having to stop at each border to check papers (it was easier for me as a soldier) I've seen the hassles just to cross border.
Imagine what that would be like Here in our Country/Nation, If our Founding was different and we ended up like Europe independent States(Nations) with nothing like our Constitution that protects the states from Federal Government interference with STATES Rights Business, in a way I can because of where I've been and what I've experienced.

We have this because of the people who became the founding force to our Nation We Call the United States of America, Even in Germany I met many people who have the same desire to be let alone too do their thing; to bring up their family their way according to their beliefs, faith, and conscience.
I think and believe that any Government has no Answers for anyone or for everyone. A Constitutional Government has or should have limited powers internal to its citizens, its responsibility is to keep ALL its Citizens safe for any and all external matters period...
Especially for the United States of America we are a Constitutional Republic, the constitution outlines what the Federal Government can do and all other powers are and have been reserved to the various States and to the people, We The People.

Ha, I didn't realize where this went, just a post of a great time on the 27th of May 2017.

Well this sucks I hit a deer the evening on the way home from a bike night, actually I was originally headed up north to work on my house but got a text that FEMA had cancelled the inspection. So on county road 8 220th street in Scott county.
Two deer ran out in front of my Sprinter and I could not avoid the second and hit directly in the center of the grill and it took out the AC Condenser and fan plus the radiator, both head lights were damaged but just cracks in the lens. No one was hurt, the deer is dead πŸ˜•, that's was two hours ago, now waiting for the tow truck to get here and get home, the van still runs but the radiator is toast.

Yes. I believe this, made a difference in my life.
