Well, to wake up and see this today reminds me why I love what I do. Through photography, I have not only been able to challenge myself and dial in a skill set I’ve been building on for a major chunk of my life, but it has allowed me to channel and intertwine my obsession with every facet of music and my roots in Punk Rock to meet some of my all time favorite bands, people I’d never dream of being in the same room with let alone befriending and working with. It’s notifications like this that stoke the artistic fire at the root of my world and make me so giddy with excitement for where these adventures will lead for me. I had a photo of Alkaline Trio in the front of my binder from 6-10th grade that I was infatuated with. Obviously because of AT but moreso because of the style and composition of the photo itself. And then I knew without a doubt my path and up it went like wildfire. Humbled. Grateful. Passionate.
