I've literally known Shane since he was a baby. I've watched him turn into a great young man, an incredible father and now about to marry his sweetheart! Rachel and Shane have the kind of camaraderie and banter of a couple who just gets each other! Shane's daughter Norah was the perfect assistant when she wasn't in front of the camera. Pretty sure she wants me to hire her now.... Looking forward to their 2026 wedding!

When our kids met in grade school no one could have prepared me for the friendship that blossomed OR that I’d be photographing their “baby’s” wedding all these years later! When Olivia and Cody reached out to us to be their wedding photogs we were humbled, honored and totally stoked! However, I knew this one would be tough. I was wrong. It WRECKED me. lol!!!! Seeing Olivia come down the aisle and witnessing her dad’s tears and then later his speech about his two beautiful daughters finding the loves of their lives was absolutely touching. I cried. A LOT. I literally steamed up my camera view finder with my tears. Having two girls get married in the same year is certainly hard for a girl dad and his speech reflected his happiness, gratitude and love! He won the jackpot for sure because both daughters met and married amazing men. Olivia was stunning in her gown and Cody got the assignment with a custom suit that had details I’ve never seen in a groom’s attire! I cannot say enough about the amazing vendors. Sandi from the Heinz History Center was one of the best we've worked with. Noah (the videographer) was incredible on so many levels and we'd love to work with him again! The DJ's were perfect - engaging but not over powering and played the right mixes to get everyone on the dance floor. BIG shout out to hair and makeup because with all the tears that flowed, Olivia's makeup stayed FLAWLESS and never ran (some kind of miracle work there...)
Anyhow, join me in wishing Olivia and Cody all our best wishes and safe travels on their honeymoon to the Maldives and Thailand! (Two of our bucket list destinations!)

Who knew when we met Cody and Jillian at doggie obedience school two years ago that we'd eventually be shooting their wedding?! Truck and Luna became fast friends at school (and often got in trouble for co-mingling just a tad too much) We shared a lot of laughs with Cody and Jillian and soon became friends too! (I still have Jillian in my phone as "Jillian-Truck's Mom". Pretty sure it's gonna stay that way for nostalgia now...) ANYHOW - fast forward to yesterday. WHAT a celebration! I also need to add that they had one of the most creative wedding party entrances we've ever had the pleasure of photographing (and that's saying a lot). As hot and humid as the day was, the energy never stopped and everyone had an awesome time celebrating this amazing couple! Shout out to their incredible DJ; Don Liedtke (MJE Events) - who, I'm pretty sure, brought everything in his warehouse for this party. The props, the music and all the extras were over the top. Thank you to Cody, Jillian and their families for putting their trust in me and Jeff to capture such a wonderful day

Our engagement session yesterday was perfect! We managed to mostly dodge the storms and only got caught in one downpour :) Kylie and Chris tie the knot in just under a year and we are so excited to be their wedding photographers! Here are a few previews from their session

Fall was a crazy busy season for us (as is for most wedding photographers). Does anyone else agree that the leaves this year were absolutely gorgeous?? Chase and Alexis chose Tomlinson Run State Park for their engagement session and I honestly think this was one of the prettiest at the park compared to the last few years. We cannot wait for their October wedding next year!

When you have a bride who you've literally known from birth, it has a whole new meaning. We held her as a newborn - visited numerous zoos with our children in strollers, countless birthday parties, sleep overs, soccer tournaments and swim parties. Fast forward to senior portraits and a deep friendship that has stood the test of time. I cannot think of any greater honor than photographing the wedding of someone I hold so dear. I just can't believe that time passed in the blink of an eye!! Jessica and Daniel tied the knot on a crisp fall day that was absolutely perfect. I also MUST mention that you need to check out a close up of the flowers. Every. Single. One was crocheted by our bride (she may have had a little help but it was all her!) Jess and Daniel also did something we love - they did a first look, exchanged private vows prior to the ceremony and completed their family formals ALL before the ceremony so that they could fully enjoy cocktail hour with their family and guests. Also, please excuse my inclusion of images that Jeff and I are a part of because not only were we honored to be their wedding photographers, we are lucky to call them life-long family/friends. Congratulations to the newlyweds - Mr. and Mrs. Mayfield!

Britney & Buck got married on what can only be described as the perfect autumn day! We started out with a little bit of rain but the rain only enhanced the beautiful colors of the trees and the surrounding property. With a *small* wedding party of TWENTY-TWO (24 including the bride and groom!) and two hundred of their closest family and friends not even the smallest amount of rain could put a damper on the day. We also have to say - this was our first wedding ever where the bride and groom swapped out a Unity Candle for a custom made "B" brand and together they branded their first deer hide. Nothing about this wedding was ordinary. Everything about this wedding was simply beautiful!!! Congratulations to Britney & Isaiah "Buck" Franklin!
