Part 2: Better Ways to Give Gift Cards
Adding another gift (it doesn’t have to be expensive) is a great way to make it feel more memorable to give a gift card. Find something small at the same store or with the same vibe. We paired a gift card from with our Golf Journal, to create a gift tower perfect for Father’s Day

If you are new to a school this year, here are 3 things to know about teacher gifts:
1. Does the PTO, room parent, or each family give a gift?
2. Are there any budget or other restrictions?
3. Do the teachers fill out an About Me page?
Bonus: Is there anyone else important to your child whom you’d like to recognize?

SOLUTION: If you are wrapping several gifts at once, like monogrammed teacher or graduation gifts, do this before anything else: write each recipient’s name on a post it. Then match each post it to the specific gift. Wrap the first gift and attach the post it (I usually fix it to the ribbon so I don’t damage the paper). Repeat this process for each gift and remove the post its right before you send or distribute the gifts.

Gift cards are great but they can feel a little boring to gift. I’ve got three ways to make them more meaningful and memorable.

Idea 1: Create a personalized bag and add the gift card. The recipient has a thoughtful keepsake that they can keep long after they use the gift card.

Love this idea for teacher gifts!

Stay tuned for two more ideas!

Spring in New England is tricky. It can feel like summer one day and snow the next (I'm not exaggerating). Even in all this uncertainty, you can plant pansies. These small flowers are as tough as they are pretty. And that's why I love them!

I plucked a few from the planter on my front step, started sketching, and eventually created out Pansy Wrapping Paper.

Do you like pansies?

I used to buy a journal, write in it twice, and abandon it. Every. Single. Time.

Then I focused on making the act of journaling easier. Now I love writing every day.

Four shifts that changed everything:
1. Same place every day — no hunting, no excuses
2. A journal that fits my favorite pen
3. Zero pressure — no topic, no word count, no time goals
4. Added it to my coffee routine and now it is my favorite morning ritual

No perfect morning routine required. Just four small things that have made daily journaling feel easy.
Which one will you try first?

There’s something about blue and white, am I right!?

Our hand-painted gingham feels classic in the best way: easy, versatile, and quietly beautiful. The kind of wrap that doesn’t compete with the gift, but makes it feel more thoughtful.

Perfect for a baby shower, Father's Day, or to keep on hand for all those moments that pop up throughout the year.
