We dreamed of brilliant sunsets but got rain and fog for five straight days. So we made beautiful foggy photos; and the very last evening Mother Nature applauded our perseverance and gave us a TINY bit of color in the sky at sunset. This is it; soft, understated, delicate, captivating.

We set out to photograph epic sunsets in the NC mountains. Mother Nature had other plans and presented us with rain and fog.
