Some sessions stay with you long after you put the camera away.
Today, I had the honor of capturing photos to celebrate a beautiful rainbow baby while also making space to remember a son who will always be part of their story; Amos.
Grief and joy can exist together. A new life never replaces the one who came before, but instead adds another chapter to a family's story, one filled with love that continues to grow.
As a photographer, it is a privilege to preserve these moments. Amos may not be in these photos physically, but his presence is woven throughout them, and he will always be a cherished part of this family's journey.
To the Hall family, thank you for trusting me with such a tender and sacred chapter of your lives. Your love for Amos shines just as brightly as your love for your precious rainbow baby, Jovie, and it was an honor to document both.
The skirt is from Project Finding Your Rainbow, Journey for Jasmine. They send out the skirt to mom's of loss to use to "go on to find their rainbow." Whatever this may look like.
