We’ve never been quiet about where we stand…on anything. If you watch our stories, you know that already. If you’re a business or an influencer or a regular ole person who is not SPEAKING UP, check yourself. Silence speaks volumes when our democracy is at risk and there is no excuse for it. Not “losing out on potential clients.” Not “upsetting current clients.” Unless your target market is 🥶, you need to speak up. Now. And put your money where your mouth is.

Anna and Nick gave me SO much trust with planning their engagement session. They shared tons of details about their relationship, allowing me to build a mood board for them that was truly reflective of them as a couple. I stalked their instagram to get a feeling of their typical style (woops accidentally liked one or Nick’s posts from two years ago) and used that to guide their wardrobe recommendations. I’ll share the mood board in my stories later but my GOD they delivered. Anyway these two are getting married today so it’s about time I share the pictures from that session.

“This only happens to other people!!” - Lauren, after Matthew literally blew everyone away with his thoughtful proposal. He:
- set up one table for every year they’ve been together with instax pictures, a rose, and a note
- walked her down to the gardens where he proposed
- surprised her with both of their moms being there
- surprised her AGAIN with a bunch of their loved ones
- played piano for her, after visiting Villa Terrace multiple times in the previous weeks to practice on their baby grand

Feeling emotional that being a part of these special moments is my job ❤️

Thinking about how cool our couples are, forever and always. This is Joe and Audrey. We have art from on our living room wall and makes cool stuff too. Picked up flowers from a different past client at a festival today, and photographed invites designed by the groom himself yesterday. Some clients have become our closest friends. Others, I think about all the time and miss dearly. Thankful to be able to capture big milestones and mundane days alike for the best humans. Forever and always.
