The IAFF has issued a safety advisory about Glutathione that applies to all Firefighters stating there are no published scientific studies providing evidence that it reduces PFAS levels or oxidative stress associated with fire fighters’ occupational exposures.

Four family residential structure, Kitchen fire, fire out the windows Charlie side, and eaves. 2 lines stretched.

The Manatee County Public Safety Department mourns the loss of a member of our EMS family, Charge Paramedic Caitlyn Roskovich.

Through her work with Manatee County EMS, she dedicated herself to serving our community and caring for others.

Our hearts are with Caitlyn's family, her fiancée, friends and the many colleagues who had the privilege of knowing and working alongside her. We extend our deepest condolences to everyone grieving this loss.

We are deeply saddened to announce the off-duty passing of one of our own, Sergeant Corey Griffin.

The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office extends our heartfelt condolences to Sergeant Griffin’s family, friends, and fellow MCSO colleagues. We stand with them during this incredibly difficult time and honor Sergeant Griffin’s service and dedication to our community.

Funeral arrangements and additional information will be shared when available.

Please keep Sergeant Griffin’s loved ones and the MCSO family in your thoughts and prayers.
