Closing out another school year with my own littles today… they are always the best reminder of how fast time really moves! They are a huge reason I decided to take my love for photography to another level. I know we will all want photos to look back on one day. 💙

Not like us parents need any more pressure.. but we only get so many summers like this with our babies…

Do: hold your family close…hug, kiss, tickle, snuggle!
Don’t: tell your kids to stand stiff & force awkward smiles.

Do: let kids be kids! Let them play, let them move!
Don’t: stress over them being bored / sitting still.

Do: Take the time to plan coordinating outfits & a color scheme that fits the season and location (I will help you!)
Don’t: force kids to wear something not comfortable / suitable for the weather.

This family here always nails it! We focus on connection rather than perfection! & wahhlahhh… they get some great family memories captured everytime! ✨✨✨

Family photos don’t need to be a drag / stressful…. I’ll show you the other side ;)

& FYI, once I made immediate friendship with big sister, we got these precious keepsake photos (& a bunch more) in less than 5 minutes!
You gotta work fast with toddlers! But you also need to know how to get ‘on their level’ 😉

If you’ve been waiting for your kids to be cooperative & eager to get their photo taken.. I hate to break it to you, you may be waiting a while! But sometimes… it takes the right fit in a photographer for your family to make it fun & easy! ✨
