Why? Because newborn safety is something I take very seriously.
When you hand your brand-new baby to a photographer at just 5–7 days old, you’re trusting that person with so much more than creating beautiful photographs. You’re trusting them with your baby during one of the most delicate stages of their life.
As we head into winter newborn season, I made sure I’m doing my part to take the precautions I can before welcoming these tiny babies into my studio.
We also mask while handling and photographing newborns, wash and sanitize our hands constantly, clean and sanitize the studio and props between sessions, and never take chances when someone isn’t feeling well.
When you’re choosing a newborn photographer, please ask questions.
Ask how they handle newborn safety.
Ask about illness precautions.
Ask whether they sanitize their studio and props.
Ask whether they mask around your baby.
Because the person you choose may be holding your baby when they are only a few days old.
Beautiful photographs matter to me but your baby’s safety will always come first.🤍
