Scenes from Monday evening in Deptford as crews battled a large brush fire behind the Deptford Public Works complex, shutting down Hurffville Rd. for several hours. Deptford Fire Department was joined by members of Gloucester County's brush fire task force, and crews were able to contain, and extinguish the fire.

Some shots from this afternoon as Westville Fire Department responded to Westwood Manor for an alarm system with smoke showing. Taskforce 7 was struck bringing in mutual aid from West Deptford Fire Department, Gloucester City Firefighters and Fire Officers, National Park Fire Department and Brooklawn Fire Company.

Crews were able to locate the source of the smoke as careless cooking in an apartment in the C building, are remained on scene to help ventilate smoke from both the B & C buildings.
