We pretended to play some baseball (like 1.5 hours of make believe!), we leisurely toured the outside of some fresh rental opportunities, we thought about fishing or perhaps dipping our toes into the river but alas we decided to take in the sunset on top of the highest building in downtown Fargo - and I don't mean the height. Ahhh..senior pictures have really evolved.

Okay, okay, I know I'm super late to the sneak peek party, but trust me, it's gonna be WORTH. THE. WAIT!

My seniors this year have been absolutely freaking fun and AMAZING (no, I don't just say that all w***y nilly because generic statements like that make my skin crawl- which is probably why the sneak peeks are slower than usual....I digress - but more on that another day).

I will be honest...I didn't always love senior sessions. I would get so nervous before these sessions, overthinking, overanalyzing, and over-planning (who, me? yes, me!). But then I had an epiphany - what if I just relaxed, had fun, and let the magic happen? Instead of worrying about making your session trendy on socials...let's just worry about making it fun and memorable IRL ("in real life" for you parents out there.)

I still do get nervous and years of experience has helped, but it's the freedom to be spontaneous while getting to know the humans in front of me...that is what makes these sessions truly unforgettable. (I can guarantee I will veer off the road at least once and tell you to "trust me".)

So, to all my past and future seniors, thanks for trusting me to capture your fun. And to those waiting for sneak peeks, hang in there, it's coming... eventually. (trust me!).
