Exploring the Grandfather mountain state park!

Thing with Sol is, I don't have to tell him how/where/when to pose! Some just get it right even if you give them a little nudge! Man, that's a blessing for a portrait photographer! No wonder models are paid! :D

Also, Is the tree fallen or it just grows that way? I don't know!

This is what happens when wind does you a favor and I think we made a good use of it. A timely click! ;) This is one of such photos where I really felt a prime lens would have made this frame even better!

stunts on , GrandFather mountain, North Carolina! Was lucky to notice him doing this and could quickly get the right angle. I did feel a zoomed shot could have had more of the subject and the act in the frame but I still go with the feeling I had when I clicked this i.e. preferring whole perspective with visible details of subject than too much focus on the subject. It made it less of a portrait but a better photo in my opinion.

It's been a while since this trip. A late post as usual. Very late in fact! Seasons passed! Haha!









P.S. I do remember details about the good pictures I take for quite a while.

Discovered this viewpoint unexpectedly while visiting another one. Someone among us just saw something beautiful at the end of the road and then thought of checking it out. It was a good decision though we were running short of time. #
