A smush of fall and winter at once. We spent two days up in Logan pass and saw a fusion of incredible fall colors and watched rain turn into a mini blizzard. We hiked through sunshine, hail, wind and snow. Glacier, you were an awesome adventure ✌️ @ Glacier National Park

It’s been a year, but oh so excited to welcome fall 🍁✨ We are finally out of the smoke and the rain and we were rewarded with a truly incredible view of the cascade mountain range. We hiked over 30 miles during those 3 days of sunshine. We breathed big gulps of fresh air and we're just so happy to be outside.

wow, wow, wow 😍🍁

A few film snaps from the first day of our honeymoon. We are currently on a road trip exploring the west coast. Hiking constantly and stopping at every brewery with outdoor seating πŸ˜‚βœ¨πŸ’™ @ Crater Lake National Park

SURPRISE! We did a thing πŸ’β€οΈ Earlier this month we had a small legal wedding in the mountains.

Today was suppose to be our actual wedding date. We planned to be in the Swiss Alps surrounded by the people we love most in the world. But like all things in 2020 we had to adjust. So here is to always seeing the glass half full. To being stoked to get to marry the same man twice. To getting two opportunities to celebrate our love. So instead of listening to cow bells in the Swiss Alps, we are in a tiny cabin in the PNW listening to rain. And just being grateful for each other. Looking forward to next year when we can celebrate again ❀️

And in the spirit of seeing the glass half full. It was very smoky on our wedding day. So these photos were edited using the magic of photoshop to bring back in the mountains.

The west coast is on fire 😒πŸ”₯ Those orange glows are 3 fires in Oregon. We were pretty far away but it was haunting to see them burn through the night. My heart breaks for all the land lost and people effected.

Golden hour with πŸ“Έβ€οΈ We legit took this photo in the parking lot outside my hotel. Before having a picnic of sushi and vegan ice cream. Lucky to do what I love πŸ“ΈπŸ˜‚β€οΈ @ Los Angeles, California

My top 5 tips for photographing the stars!! βœ¨πŸŒŸπŸ’«

πŸ’«Find an interesting composition. I waited for 20 minutes for a car to drive through the valley so this photo would be more dynamic.

πŸ’«Set your camera right, I like to max out my settings. This photo was at ISO 6400, F1.4, 30 second exposure. I always set my focus to manual and then focus on infinity.

πŸ’« Put your camera on a sturdy surface. Ideally a tripod, but a bear canister, trash can, or a big ass rock also works.

πŸ’«Check the moon calendar. A new moon or πŸŒ™ moon work best. A full moon can often be too bright when doing a long exposure.

πŸ’«Get out of cities! The further away from light pollution the better. The stars are the brightest in the middle of fu***ng nowhere.

✨Bonus tip – Bring a friend because shooting the stars takes awhile. And bring that friend some whiskey and they will happily spend all night under the stars with you.

Have you ever loved a place so much that you just keep coming back? To the same spot, at the same time, to see the same thing? This was my 12th trip to Yosemite and this view always takes my breath away ❀️
