I heard a guest say, “If they’re smiling together through this, they’ll smile together forever.” — wise words that resounded quietly in the room when spoken.
Severe wind gusts that kept knocking things over, typical 70-80 temperatures on a Southern spring day dropped down to 55 (and honestly with the wind, felt like 30 degrees - I don’t care what the forecast said, my fingers and toes were frozen), rain at an inconvenient nonstop drizzle/shower starting 10am that day... ALL on a wedding day poised for the outdoors.
Well, they never stopped smiling once and handled it with grace and calm composure.
What a day. Congratulations & , despite all of what the weather decided to throw at us, the brightest light of the day was your love for each other.
