A "gorge"ous day at Letchworth State Park's MIDDLE FALLS ! The color was as good as I've seen it here in years past. We were also very fortunate to have a very nice sky to go with it. Full disclosure .. I did need to add some brightness in the trees, along with a little bit of contrast and a small color boost . Captured with the Canon R5 & adapted EF 16 -35mm lens .. Mid October view looking downstream from Letchworth State Park's MIDDLE FALLS. The color was as vibrant and full as I have ever seen in my recent years of visiting this location. Thanks to a full flow of water and a breeze, I was able to also capture a rainbow. All in all, it was a most beautiful day for a Letchworth visit. The color is definitely high but not quite peak yet. That will surely follow in the very near future. Full disclosure .. this image does have an enhancement of brightness along with a relatively small increase in contrast and color. One of our last photo opportunities on Vancouver Island was in the little town of Tofino, about a 1/2 hr North of Ucluelet. It is about half way up the West coast and lies at the tip of a peninsula. As we approached the beginning of town, while looking North eastward, we caught this beautiful view looking at over the water at the distant snow capped mountains. On the West coast of Vancouver Island can be found a little town called Ucluelet. Just a few minutes South of there, along the coastline, is a beautiful hike known as the Ucluelet Lighthouse Loop.
