The other day, someone asked me about taking good photos and I felt like SpongeBob writing his graduation essay: “What I learned in boating school is… what I learned in boating school iissss! AHHH” 😅

I struggled to get explain because there’re so many aspects of photography to understand to have good consistent photos. And explaining how to shoot in manual is not light conversation haha

As I’ve thought about 2023, I’ve recognized my significant growth in my skills and business practices. I’m immensely grateful for my clients and their support as I’ve developed this year!

The most important question you should ask yourself when planning your photos:

What’s my style?

Communicating the styles you like to your photographer will make or break how you feel about the photos you get back.
You can do this by gathering a few inspo photos from Pinterest or from friends’ photos. This also should help guide you on who you want as your photographer.

I love to ask my clients what styles they like so we can plan times, locations, and wardrobe. And we can try some new poses/prompts. And if my clients aren’t sure, I’m always happy to share some ideas!

•white noise (on spotify that I use to to help me get to sleep too lol)
•loving taps and face tickles

Within the first two weeks and a with recent feeding, we’ll get the most adorable sleeping pea.
