Hello 👋 I promise I’m still here!

I’ve been a little quiet over here, but definitely not for a lack of being busy! In fact, I’m so super excited to share with you all that I am the new studio manager at in downtown Lafayette, IN. This is a beautiful space for photographers to rent when they need an indoor place for sessions. I’ve loved this studio since it opened in 2013, so I cannot tell you what it means that I will now be managing it. In addition to keeping it up, I’ve made some changes that make it a clean slate and ultra versatile space for photographers of all styles. There’s so much more to come, but I’m incredibly pleased with how it has come together in the last few weeks. ❤️

I had the opportunity to take a couple of cuties up there to shoot some fun Valentine’s Day photos. I looooved the light and clean white light flooding in everywhere. These girls had the best time and chasing them around with their little giggles and tiny voices echoing all around made my heart so happy!

I’ve truly been so incredibly blessed with the most amazing clients this year. The moments, emotions, and connections that I’ve captured are irreplaceable. They are genuine. Real. And special.

As a creative person, I’ve gotten a kick out of some of the AI images coming out this holiday season, but as a photographer, my heart does break a little when I see family photos being created by AI for Christmas cards and greetings. Please don’t get so caught up in the fun of AI that you forget your local photographers that are here to create *real, meaningful* art from your genuine connection with the ones you love. And we LOVE doing it. You have no idea what a joy it is for us.

AI might be good at a lot of things, but it cannot create a genuine moment that you will ever remember or value.

I say this with all the love in my heart. ❤️

The Huber family was a dream to work with on our first snowy day of the season. I’m beyond grateful for the time with them, and so glad we moved ahead with the session in the snow. It was magical. ❤️

Miss Mabel Ruth was the sweetest little lady for her newborn session, and her big sister Hazel is the most adorable thing ever! I absolutely LOVED my time spent with Molly and Scott capturing this beautiful time in their lives. I miss shooting newborns more than anything. This session made my heart so very full. Thank you Sacha family for having me over to your new home in Ohio. It meant the world to me and I adore you all so much ❤️

I had such an amazing experience capturing this beautiful housewarming ceremony for the Rana family. Every inch, inside and out, of their gorgeous new home was blessed by their priest as their family and closest friends came to celebrate with them. It truly was such a beautiful and emotional event for me to be a part of, and I feel so grateful for the opportunity to be there. Thank you, Rana family, for trusting me with this special occasion ✨❤️
