This Pride Month, while our governor proclaims "Nuclear Family Month," We will be celebrating something bigger.

Families come in all forms—straight, q***r, adoptive, blended, foster, multigenerational, and everything in between. Every single one of them deserves dignity, respect, and recognition. Every single one of them are beautiful. Your family. My family. We are all enough.

No government proclamation gets to decide which families are worthy of being celebrated.

Love makes a family. Commitment makes a family. Showing up for one another makes a family.

We don't need permission to belong. We don't need a proclamation to exist. Our families are real, our love is real, and our place in this community is not up for debate.

This Pride Month, we will celebrate every family built on love, commitment, and belonging—not just the ones politicians are comfortable acknowledging.

🏳️‍🌈 PRIDE IS RESISTANCE. PRIDE IS LOVE. PRIDE IS US. 🏳️‍🌈

In a world that has spent generations telling LGBTQIA+ people who they should be, who they should love, and how they should exist, we chose something different:

We chose authenticity.
We chose visibility.
We chose each other.

As an LGBTQ+ couple, PRIDE isn't just a celebration for us. It's personal.

It's every person who came before us and fought for the right to love openly.
It's every battle won—and every battle still being fought.
It's every young person searching for hope and every adult finally finding the courage to live as themselves.

🏳️‍🌈 PRIDE means refusing to shrink ourselves to make others comfortable.

🏳️‍🌈 PRIDE means loving boldly in a world that still questions our existence.

🏳️‍🌈 PRIDE means holding hands in public, speaking our truth, and taking up space exactly as we are.

🏳️‍🌈 PRIDE means honoring the activists, trailblazers, and advocates who made our lives possible—and continuing their work by using our voices to uplift others.

🏳️‍🌈 Pride Month is here, and we're kicking it off with our favorite love story: ours. 🏳️‍🌈

Fifteen years together. Nearly 9 years married. Countless adventures, challenges, milestones, and moments that have shaped us into who we are today.

As q***r photographers, we don't just photograph love—we live it. We know what it feels like to find your person in a world that doesn't always make space for your story. We know the joy of choosing each other, over and over again.

This month, we're excited to share the incredible q***r couples, weddings, elopements, and love stories we've had the honor of documenting. Stories of courage. Stories of connection. Stories that deserve to be seen.

But here's the thing: our celebration of q***r love doesn't start on June 1st and end on June 30th.

Q***r love isn't a seasonal trend. It's not a marketing campaign. It's not something that deserves visibility for one month and silence for the other eleven.

We celebrate q***r love every single day. In every inquiry we answer. Every wedding we photograph. Every couple we encourage to take up space and be unapologetically themselves.

Pride started as a protest. It became a movement. And for us, it's a reminder that love has always been worth fighting for.

☀️Did someone say summer mini sessions?! For the first time in years?! ☀️

We are considering the idea of hosting a summer mini session evening in June for all of our past families (and maybe new too!). These would be 15 minute slots at a Lafayette location. Wanted to make sure we'd have enough interest before solidifying the date! If you are interested, let us know below!

This past January, Bryt and I got to be part of one of the BEST surprises we’ve ever helped pull off — my cousin Megan’s proposal to her now fiancé, Roberto.

Last year, Roberto reached out saying he wanted to connect about something “BIG BIG” … and honestly, the second we saw the message, we knew exactly where this was headed.
