🐾✨ Meet Skye! ✨🐾

This past weekend, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Skye and her wonderful family for a special “just because” photoshoot. 🤎

A few months ago, Skye’s mom reached out wanting to capture some photos of her, but she was nervous about how Skye would react to a new person.

Skye was adopted when she was just 3 years old. Her shelter records had very little information, other than that she had been a mama several times before she was found. She was understandably a very nervous girl.

Thankfully, she found her people. ❤️ And at 11 years old, Skye is now surrounded by so much love and has come such a long way.

Before our session, I made sure to ask Mom what Skye’s favorite cookies were because sometimes the fastest way to a nervous pup’s heart is through a high-value snack. 😂🍪

She was definitely unsure of me at first, but we took our time and let her come around on her terms.

And about 10 minutes in… BESTIES. 🥹🐾

These are the sessions I love most. It’s not just about getting the perfect photo — it’s about capturing their personality, their story, and the love they share with their family.

Skye’s session may have been “just because,” but it felt like so much more. 🩵🫶🏼

Blended families have my whole heart. 😍🤍

Mark and his two beautiful girls, Torey with her son and daughter—and all the little personalities that make their family, theirs. Watching everyone come together for these photos was such a beautiful reminder of how quickly these seasons of life pass.

The kids won’t always be this little. They won’t always look like this, laugh like this, or fit together in quite this way.

That’s why we take the pictures. 📸✨

Started my own business for the ✨freedom✨…

Now I’m the boss, the employee, the accountant, the marketing department, the editor, the customer service rep… and somehow I work 24/7, forget to eat, answer messages at 10 PM, and have absolutely no idea what day it is. 😂📸 all while raising 2 little boys 🤣🫶🏼

Ahhh, entrepreneurship. Wouldn’t trade it for anything though. 🩵…
