My husband, son, and I just moved into a bungalow home in TN. It a bit smaller than our last place but that just means we get to downsize & clear out material things that don’t serve us anymore.

If any of yall have moved states or countries, yall know settling in is a whole other story. We’re going on almost a month and still don’t have everything unpacked 🥴

Hiya! If you’re new here welcome to my little corner of the internet. I’m Cait - an interior photographer based in📍Crossville, TN + beyond.

Yeesh, these photos were taken in 2024 by the incredible Molly Grace Blackburn but I still look the same 🤷‍♀️

Since then I’ve become a mom to the sweetest boy who I’m obsessed with, moved to TN, adopted another cat, and took some time away from photography to settle into motherhood.

I’m still obsessed with interior design and recently just opened my books again to interior designers, builders, and hospitality!

If you’re a curious human like me, here’s a little more about myself ☺️

-I studied interior design for a little in college, dropped out to be a full time nanny and then took my photography biz full time
-I’m passionate about mentoring new/young photographers because I was that girl at 16 years old
-I pretend I like matcha for the health benefits but really crave coffee like all the time
-I have a silly fear that no one will like my true self so I mask my ADHD pretty hard, unless you give me unspoken permission to unmask
-one of my favorite past times is dreaming up some pretty big & crazy life dreams alongside my hubby Tennessee Painter
-I love podcasting. I had my own for a while, was a co-host with 2 of my besties, and have the goal to start up another one in the future
-nothing slaps harder for me than 2010’s pop music

The goal of every new construction is to show the quality of work you do and sell the home.

My number one tip for new construction photoshoots is —> STAGE IT

Hire a professional stager and stage the main areas of the home
-kitchen
-dining
-living room
-at least one bathroom
-mudroom

And if you want to make the most of your staging investment, leave it staged for open houses!

Airbnb’s might not be the most glamorous job to some photographers, but it’s one of my favorite architectural subjects to photograph!

Because not only do I get to take interior photos..I’m literally capturing the vibe of the property- amenities, animals, and all!

Even though I’m not a content creator, I might just make a fun reel and promote your property too 😉

So when you’re considering who to hire to photograph your STR, find someone that goes above and beyond to show off your place! And if you’re located in TN, I’m your girl 🤗

I will photograph almost any space..but me personally, I love bold design 🤌

Design that pushes the limits, makes you slightly uncomfortable because you don’t know if you love it or hate it. Design that’s so wild but just works, ya know?

These are only a handful of my favorite spaces that I’ve photographed!
