Can we all agree these kiddos understood the assignment? 🍎📚✨

From teachers ready to embrace another year, tiny preschoolers and seniors getting ready for their final first day of school, every laugh, every missing tooth, and every excited grin tells a story. It was such a joy getting to capture this season for so many wonderful families.

Thank y’all for continuing to support my little business. It truly means the world to me, and I hope these photos become memories you’ll look back on for years to come. ❤️

I want to put this out there…

I am 100% open to bartering with other small businesses!

Honestly… in this economy, let’s be so for real. 😂 Sometimes trading services just makes sense, and I’m all about supporting other hardworking local businesses while helping each other out.

I absolutely love supporting local, and sometimes the best deals don’t involve money at all. If you’ve got something to offer, there’s a good chance I’d be interested in trading photography for it!

A few ideas:
🤎 Tattoos
🤎 Hair, nails, lashes, facials, or other beauty services
🤎 Fresh garden produce or farm goods
🤎 Homemade baked goods, jams, or canned goodies
🤎 Handmade products
🤎 Boutique items
🤎 Photography services
🤎 Woodworking, custom signs, crafts… you name it!

At the end of the day, I truly believe everyone deserves beautiful family photos, and if bartering helps make that happen while supporting another local business, I’m all for it.

Late night thoughts while editing minis…

Lately I’ve caught myself editing a photo a certain way… then second-guessing myself and changing it back to what I’ve always done.

And if I’m being honest, a lot of that comes from worrying that my clients won’t like the slight change in my editing style.

But I’ve realized something tonight— it’s okay to grow. It’s okay to change. It’s okay to let your creativity evolve.

As artists, we’re constantly learning, finding inspiration, and discovering what truly feels like us. I want the images I deliver to be ones I’m genuinely proud of—photos that reflect my hard work, my creativity, and the direction I’m growing in.

I actually think many clients choose a photographer because they connect with their artistic eye. As your style evolves, you’re not losing your identity—you’re refining it. The people who love your work today will likely love seeing that growth, too.

So here’s your reminder (and mine): you don’t have to stay in the same place just because it’s familiar. Growth is a beautiful thing, and I’m choosing to embrace it. Don’t be afraid to grow just because it looks a little different than where you started.🤍
