Spring honeybee installation 🐝

About 8 years ago I took up beekeeping after watching my father get into the hobby a couple of years before that. To say I was hooked from the start is an understatement. The intricacy of the inner workings of a hive, the intelligence of the bees, and the overall peacefulness of the act really drew me in. And of course, being treated with delicious honey and beautiful beeswax as an end product surely adds to the list of positives.

Now, three generations learning and working together in beekeeping really brings me joy. I think it's pretty rad that my 3 year old knows so many facts about bees, and has had the opportunity to be so close to the subject. Not everyday that you see a young kid holding a queen bee and is beaming about it. Heres to another season in the hives
