4 YEARS. 🤍📸
A few weeks ago Carmen Alicia Photography turned four years old, so yes it’s time for another sappy post.🥹
As I’m making my way through year four, I’m excited to officially share something that was a huge, and honestly extremely difficult, decision for me. About three months ago, I made the decision to not return to my day job and to take the leap and stay home with my baby.
I’m so incredibly grateful that this “hobby” of mine has allowed me the flexibility to be there for every little moment with him.
So, what does that mean for all of you? More availability, first and foremost! And more time, energy, and attention to this little business that I love so much.
I’m excited to finally put time into all of the things that have been sitting on my “I’ll get to that eventually” list, an updated website, new ideas, more content, and just making this business feel more like the vision I’ve had in my head for a while now.
Of course, I’m also still navigating this new chapter of being a mom, figuring out a new routine, and re-learning time management in a completely different season of life. It’s definitely a work in progress, so thank you all for your patience these last couple months. 🤍
To every person who has booked with me, shared my work, recommended me to a friend, cheered me on, or simply continued to follow along through all of the transitions these past four years, thank you. I truly wouldn’t be here without you.
Here’s to year 4 and hopefully many, many more years of doing what I love.📸✨
