I was born and raised in North Georgia with an early love of taking photos. I moved to the Florida Panhandle in 2007. After the birth of my children, Emma (7) and Leo (4), I dove headfirst into learning the ins and outs of photography under the mentorship of my lifelong best friend. Taking photography classes, learning camera settings and editing software, and most importantly - practicing on my f

amily. After a few years of learning the ropes, I branched out and started Hive & Honey in April 2022. Photography has truly helped me to become aware of the wonderful little things that surround us each day. I am located in Gulf County, Florida. I specialize in capturing couples, families, engagements, and weddings along The Forgotten Coast. BEHIND THE LENS: I'm a full time mama of two, Emma and Leo. I’m a big fan of iced coffee, college football (Go Dawgs!), all things Halloween, cheesy puns and dad jokes, DIY projects, detail shots, and a soft pair of fuzzy socks. Hey friends! 🍂 I’m checking to see who’s interested in fall mini sessions this year! 📸 I’ll be sharing booking details and sample setup photos by this weekend. I’m finishing up some final touches (and making my own arch spray—because yes, the arch is making a comeback!). Sessions will be held at my home in our field for more flexible scheduling. Each spot will be 15 minutes, and as always—no photo limits. If I can edit it, the memories are yours! 🧡

(And yes - 🎄Christmas is also happening.)

As most of you have probably noticed, I took an extended break after taking less sessions than usual this past summer. I had a major surgery last year at the end of April, and then my youngest child (who has special needs) started kindergarten which has been a struggle all on its own.

Last year was a big adjustment period for our family, but I am happy to say that I am ready to start taking regular sessions again starting next month! I apologize to those that I have missed through messages or e-mails during this time. I have truly missed photography, meeting so many amazing families, seeing my sweet regulars, those beautiful beach sunsets, and I am so thankful for the few who reached out personally over the last few months to book family sessions.

Thank you so much to my sweet summer clients! 🤍 God truly blessed me with the most amazing families this summer.

This summer looked a little different for Hive & Honey, I had a major surgery at the end of April. Unfortunately that meant I had to really pace myself this year with sessions, so that I could safely be back to doing what I love full-time again. I wish that I could have met everyone who reached out for photos! & I apologize to those who I missed or wasn't able to respond to.

I'll be catching up on my e-mails and messages this weekend! 🤍
