Every photographer wants the perfectly exposed sun with great clouds and calm water. Going out on the bloat to get pictures the clouds were so dense and waves picked up the further out the boat went. When Coming up to Spire cove the clouds lifter for a short time and bang. A dramatic shot that would blow the "perfect" shot out of the water. Literally.

I just got back from my Alaska trip and want to know what the group thinks about sharing some of the pictures. Would you like me to share some of the fun things that were done during the trip? Not just posting the best of the best photos. I do have some behind the scenes for some of the pictures that turned out great. Sharing some of this seems like a fun thing to do.

I can't wait to see you again old friend. Soon very soon we will be reacquainted again. There will also be someone new that will get to see what this small and mighty water fall gets to show.

Just a small sample from the unforgettable Jack and Marley wedding, where love was in the air and memories were made to last a lifetime. The joy and happiness of the happy couple was palpable as they exchanged their vows and celebrated with their closest friends and family.

It has been a long time since I was lucky enough to catch some Wisconsin & Southern trains. The were slowing up coming up to Hwy Q before Brandon. Then on my way back the train was tied up. My lucky day I guess.

First look of Jack and Marly. The rain held off and sun poked out at just the right times. A great day in Door County.
