Family sessions that are actually fun. We play outside. We dance. We run. We make funny faces. Sometimes there is a picnic. It can feel a little awkward having your photo taken — almost every family I work with feels that way at the start. And almost every time, by the end, we are having so much fun nobody wants to leave. 🌙

Sometimes life right after baby arrives is hard and the newborn photos just don’t happen. This mama had a NICU stay with her twins and came to me carrying some regret about not capturing those first days. But when she finally had the time and bandwidth to make it happen? Pure gold. These two hammed it up the entire session. Absolute characters from the start. Take the pictures. Whenever you are ready. Eight days, eight weeks, eight months — they are cute forever. 🌙

For his newborn session we had to go back to the creek.
