It’s been three years since I photographed this amazing wedding in the DR and I’m gearing up to head back to the Caribbean for another. T minus 12 days until I head back to the sunshine and get my fill of palm trees, pink sands and beautiful sunsets.

Their day was filled with such heartfelt emotion, it was hard not to shed a tear during their ceremony and private vow exchange. From something olds dating back to Maria’s great grandparents, to bright pops of color amongst the green pines, to friends and family traveling from every corner of the country - everything about their day was exactly what you would expect it to be.
I think the only thing that could have made it better was their dog joining in on the celebration.

If you’re looking for a venue set amongst the mountains of the Adirondacks, that allows your family and friends to be with you the entire weekend I highly recommend . Truly, one of the gems hidden amongst these mountains, and one of my favorite venues to photograph. ⛰️⛰️

Vision accomplished ✨
Chels + Junior had a specific vision in mind for their engagement session - effortless, fun and authentically them. Although they’re in VA now, these two went back to their roots with some good ol NY Pizza.

No overthinking, no stiff posing — just running around the city together, sharing slices, laughing nonstop and documenting this season exactly as it feels. The kind of session that reminds me your photos don’t need to be complicated to feel meaningful. Sometimes your favorite memories are made doing the simplest things with your favorite person. 🍕🤍

Just the two of them, the mountains in the distance, and the quiet kind of love that doesn’t need an audience.

They exchanged vows along Lake Champlain with the wind in their hair, wildflowers in hand, and nowhere else to be. No timeline pressure. No distractions. Just an intentional day centered entirely around what mattered most… each other.

These are the kinds of wedding days I’ll never stop romanticizing and a great way to kick off 2026 wedding season🤍

This year, I made a conscious decision to limit my phone use on our Florida trip, opting for a camera instead. I set a daily time limit of one hour and focused on being more present. Honestly, it was incredibly rewarding. Now, I’m finding it tough to get back into the habit of using my phone and being active on social media. 🫠
