**It’s not just about taking a “good” picture. It’s about making someone FEEL something.**
Your picture-taking skills aren’t necessarily what CAPTURES a client and keeps them coming back. It’s the ability to *feel* the photo.
Even if it’s just someone smiling… are they **REALLY** smiling? Or do they look uncomfortable, forced, or like they’re secretly trying not to p**p? 😂 *(Okay… maybe there’s a better way to say that, but you get me!)*
Now, don’t get me wrong—**skills MATTER!** Trust me, you can take the most emotionally impactful photo in the world, but if it’s blurry, the color is off, or something just looks janky, it’s going to be hard for someone else to see the beauty you see.
But here’s the thing…
**WE ARE ALL IN A RUSH.** 🙋♀️ Guilty!
Sometimes, as photographers, we get so focused on getting the shot that we forget to stop and actually **INTERACT** with the person in front of our camera.
Make small talk.
Laugh with them.
Get to know them.
Give them a second to relax.
Because when your client stops thinking about the camera and starts enjoying the moment…
**THAT’S when the magic happens. **
The best photos aren’t always the ones where someone is perfectly posed.
They’re the ones where you can **FEEL the person in the photograph.**
And THAT is what keeps people coming back. ❤️
