Today we say thank you and farewell to Nicholas Edmeier.

For nearly a decade, has poured his heart into preserving and sharing the history of Whittier. From intern to curator at the Whittier Historical Society & Museum, his patience, dedication, and deep love for this community have shaped countless stories — and the way they’re told.

We at were fortunate to work with Nicholas on a few of our projects, where he brought that same insight, generosity, and unwavering commitment to honoring Whittier’s history — both on camera and behind the scenes.

As he begins a new chapter, we want to express our sincere gratitude that our paths crossed in all the ways they did and for the lasting impact he’s had on our work and this community. Wishing you all the best, Nicholas — always.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of .

Last fall, we had the privilege of celebrating his extraordinary career at the inaugural . The team crafted this retrospective to celebrate his life and work on a night filled with laughter, appreciation, and recognition as he was inducted into the Comedy Hall of Fame.

From “The Cowboys,” “The Long Riders,” and “The Big Red One,” to “Revenge of the Nerds,” “Lizzie McGuire,” and so many more memorable film and television credits, Robert Carradine’s work touched generations of audiences. He brought heart, humor, and authenticity to every role.

Tonight, we share this tribute to Carradine in gratitude, remembrance, and celebration of a remarkable life in film.

The film festival was an incredible experience. ASP was fortunate enough to win the Senator’s Choice Award for Best Documentary.
