A year ago this month I posted my first Halloween makeup. When I started doing these self portraits I was at a very low point in my life. Struggling with self image and my place in this world. Doing these photos helped me find myself and appreciate the person I am. I have found such love and passion from doing makeup and playing with the art of photography.
I hope to one day be a helping hand for others see their beauty for those that also struggle. Dealing with self image is a hard thing to go through alone but if I can show them themselves through my eyes, then maybe they’d be able to see just how beautiful they are.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but what if you change from which eye you see?
