Hey friends! I’ve been a little quiet on here lately. I’ve been deep in class and my class project thats due next week, learning a ton, but I’m still here and still shooting.

From league photos this morning to a beautiful wedding this afternoon, I’m definitely balancing a lot right now. πŸ˜‚

When I photograph a birthday session, I’m thinking about how everything in the frame works together while leaving room for their personality to take over. This is the kind of photo I want on the wall. Big personality, fully on display.

The motorcycle is pretty cool, but that smile gets me.

I loved getting to photograph the Ability Point Rides at OJ Watson Park. This look back at me ended up being one of my favorites from the evening. There’s so much personality in this one photo.

He had me at the handshake. Then came that smile.

This is why I pay attention before I ever take the photo. How someone greets me, the way they carry themselves, those little expressions. That’s what I want you to recognize in their portrait.

Her red lipstick, her hand at the crown, and her eyes looking right into my camera. This is what I want my portraits to do: make you stop and see the person in them.
