I saw these windows and immediately knew I wanted to shoot into them.

Most people would’ve seen them as a problem.

They were bright BRIGHT. The kind of light that’s easy to avoid because it’s so much simpler to photograph the couple from the other direction.

But some of my favorite images happen when I lean into the challenge instead of away from it. While the couple was dancing in a circle, I waited until the bride was facing towards me (and away from the window) so we could capture that beautiful golden light illuminating her face.

The result? A photo that feels dramatic, timeless, and like it belongs in a movie.

Knowing where to stand, how to expose the image, and when to trust your vision—that’s the kind of experience I bring to every wedding day. ✨

Some weddings don’t ask to be photographed.

They ask to be remembered.

The way he looked at her before saying a single word.
The veil catching the summer breeze.
Her bouquet slowly loosening as the hours passed.
The perfume she’d never wear the same way again.
The sunglasses on the dance floor.
The fingerprints this day left on everyone who was there.

Years from now, these photos won’t just remind them what their wedding looked like.

They’ll remind them what it felt like.

The butterflies before the ceremony.
The warmth of June sunshine.
The quiet in-between moments no one else noticed.
The laughter that echoed long after the music stopped.

That’s always the goal for me.

Not perfect poses.
Not trendy edits.

Just photographs that feel like opening an old box in the attic someday—filled with pieces of a life that was loved well.
