There are sessions that fill your calendar… and then there are sessions that fill your heart. 🥹

This was one of those sessions.

When I received a phone call to tell me the news, and ask me to assist with their announcement there were tears on both ends of the phone. Knowing what they had walked through to get here made this joy feel so much bigger.

I had the incredible honor of photographing two old friends as they shared the sweetest news they’ve been waiting so long to announce. Their journey to this moment wasn’t easy. It was filled with hope, heartbreak, prayers, patience, and an unwavering belief that one day this moment would come.

As a photographer, people often see the finished images. What they don’t always see is the incredible privilege of being invited into some of life’s most sacred moments. The whispered secrets. The happy tears. The embraces that say more than words ever could. The dreams that finally become reality.

Being trusted with moments like these is something I will never take for granted.

Photography has never been just about taking beautiful pictures for me. It’s about preserving stories. It’s about freezing a feeling in time so that years from now, when life has changed and little feet have grown, they can look back and remember exactly how this moment felt.

This is the true definition of why I do what I do.

To my sweet friends, thank you for trusting me with your secret, your story, and one of the most beautiful chapters of your lives. Watching your prayers become your reality has been nothing short of an honor. My heart couldn’t be happier for you both, and I already know this little baby is so deeply loved. 🤍

(ps, Mom and Dad already announced, this is me just sharing the true honor and love for what I get to do).

A nostalgic holiday experience inspired by the Christmas mornings we remember. Filled with colored twinkling lights, handmade touches, cozy traditions, and all the magic of being a kid at Christmas.

A little nostalgia. A little holiday magic. And a whole lot of memories waiting to be made with me, breaking the mold.

Mr. and Mrs. Baney - July 11th, 2026.

Olivia and Zarek picked the perfect recipe for a July wedding: sunshine, a little heat, a whole lot of love, and a dance floor that absolutely did not believe in a bedtime.

Tucked away in the woods with pops of orange and teal, their day felt like the perfect little hidden gem. The setting was beautiful, the families were incredible, and I'm pretty sure every guest understood the assignment when it came to celebrating.

From emotional moments to dance moves that may or may not be recreated at future family gatherings, this day had it all.

Olivia and Zarek, thank you for letting me tag along to capture such an amazing day. Wishing you a lifetime of laughter, adventures, and always having someone who'll hit the dance floor with you. 🤍🥹

Happy Father’s Day to all the special Dad’s out there today. To the ones who show up to the sessions and deal with all of the choas and my “just one more” liner that I repeat atleast 50x, I salute you. 🫡

Aria is kicking off my 2027 seniors with a little summer warm-up session prior to her scheduled fall shoot. 🤍

I kid you not, when Aria showed up, she looked me dead in the face and said "I am not a picture person." I beg your finest pardon? 🤨 Because she could have fooled me! Aria has the sweetest little soul, the amount of times I squealed and said "omgsh, stop ittt, you are so stinkin' cute" was an all time record high in just this short session. I am SO looking forward to her formal shoot this fall. ✨

Such a FUN group, hands down. Teddy was not in the mood for pictures, he is four - we get it. 😅😉 But that is honestly my favorite challenge. This just means we pivot, we capture the in between moments. The silly conversations, the quick cheesy glances and the failed attempt at trying to hold in the giggles from Dad being silly. It all matters, it all is a piece of the story.

Scarlett on the other hand. She showed up and acted as she was on my payroll as a baby model. 😂

It was so fun getting to meet this gang and capture some fun moments as a family of four. 🥹

The queen's last prom. ✨ My heart hurts a little over this one. 😭

Em has fueled my creativity over the years and she has fully trusted me with ENDLESS photo sessions. A lot of them on a whim. And she has never for a second doubted me. But really, if THIS girl is in front of my lens, it makes everything that much easier.

If you see her photographed in the future, just know it is because she dragged me all across the Mansfield Campus to make some silly little magic happen, but I truly wouldn't have it any other way. Until next time 💙
