Same photo… color vs. black and white. Which do you like better? 🥰
I’ve been a little MIA here on socials for a while, but rest assured, I’ve still had my camera in hand. In fact, I’ve already photographed a few weddings this summer!
Life has changed a lot recently, all for the better, and those changes have had such a positive impact on my photography.
I’m now working a 9 to 5 here in CT as an estimator for insulation, gutters and garage doors. And friends… I kinda love it. 🤩 The work life balance is very similar to what I had when I was doing photography full time, and it’s given me the chance to fall in love with photography all over again.
Photography is no longer something I have to rely on to pay the bills. It gets to be something I choose because I genuinely love it. And honestly, that’s been such a gift.
Now I get to say yes to the weddings and sessions that feel like the perfect fit. 📸
It also means I’ve been taking some photos ✨ just for me ✨, which has led to a collection of images I can’t wait to print and hang in our home.
Without even realizing it, I’ve built up a little collection that feels like a mini print shop. One of my favorite parts of photography has always been sharing it, creating something that other people can enjoy and connect with just as much as I do.
So it’s still brand new and definitely a work in progress, but I’ve officially started a digital gallery shop. ❤️
It’s not 100% set up the way I want it yet, and right now there’s only one gallery from a trip I took to Dayton. But so many of you have been following along and cheering me on since day one, and I didn’t want to wait to share it with you. 📸
The two photos I’m posting today are actually the same image from that gallery, one in color and one in black and white. I’ll be printing one for my own collection and using it to display my print quality, but I can’t decide.
Color or black and white? You tell me! ❤️
I’m hoping to get back to posting regularly now that I’ve settled into my new job.
I can’t wait to share all the weddings, adventures and new things I’ve been photographing lately
