As this season comes to a close, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to every client, family, and individual who supported my art and business, and entrusted me with their memories this year.

You may have noticed a quieter presence online. This fall season was my busiest to date and required an extraordinary amount of time, focus, and patience. While I’m extremely proud of the work created, the pace took a toll on my health overall. I finished out the season with a slipped rib and eye strain (editing in sunglasses was definitely a first 😎), making rest and healing necessary.

At this time, I am closed until further notice to allow space for rest, healing, and creative renewal. Updates will be shared when I am ready to reopen.

Wishing you all a magical Christmas night and a beautiful New Year ahead. πŸ’«

There are two extremely disheartening things I’ve been asked this past week that I need to address:
- Does editing just consist of removing the watermark?
- β€œAnybody could just swipe a filter on them.”

As someone who pours hours of time and emotion into every gallery, those comments sting. Photography is art, and editing is where that art truly comes alive in my work. It’s not a preset; it’s a craft. A talent within a talent. πŸ’«

Editing is not a quick filter or watermark removal - it’s a detailed, intentional process that brings the vision of your session to life. Every image is hand-edited with care: lighting balanced, tones refined, distractions removed, skin tones perfected, and the emotion of the moment preserved.

It’s hours of artistry that transform a beautiful photo into a finished piece of art. Please remember, photographers don’t just take photos, we create them.πŸ’›
