It's been a while since I shared what I've been up to, but not any less passionate!

In honor of my winter hiatus, I'm going to do a little twist on a "get to know me" & instead, share a few niche things that instantly make me excited as a photographer:

- any musical instrument, specifically pianos or fiddles😍
- tattooossssss
- umbrellas
- when a client is down to play in a body of water
- champagne glasses
- vintage floor tile
- high heels
- clocks
- shadow-play
- animals, the more exotic the better
- new-to-me locations

Part Two // "Your light grows stronger the more you are willing to face the darkness"

This self love shoot was special because it was chaotic, but we laughed anyway. The flowers kept falling over, attacking Katia's face & there were moments of pause to try to find the right angle or light. But in the end, the thing I felt most was gratitude that we took a pause from the world to dream a little while 🤍

Something I'm afraid to tell clients upfront is that I'm 80% planned and 20% willing to experiment. I'm NOT confident I'll get it right right away, or that I know exactly the right pose or lighting or spot. But I am confident I'll find it, I'll keep trying, observing & playing until I do.

Isn't this mama-to-be so absolutely beautiful? 🥹
