It’s been a minute since we did this. We made a big step this weekend and went to a parade for libertyville days. Not for nothing. My daughter asked if it would be the same parade the guy with the gun was at. But the girls said they wanted to go to see their cousins walk in the parade. Between taking photos I was checking out rooftops. So that’s a trauma we will continue to deal with. But we got to enjoy a fun carnival with family in the end. Just wish it was easier. Happy summer y’all.

Going to bed happy with a full stomach and full heart. Always love seeing the people I see at these things and catching up. And of course you kill it every time. But when are you going to start serving that coffee full time. I’m in love.

Nothing like a on the beach followed up by a cold plunge (or partial plunge) in the lake to kick off summer with friends. Honestly I came into this very wary because I HATE the heat. But I came out feeling relaxed and refreshed and ready for a good night of sleep. Wouldn’t change a thing. Can’t wait to do it again.

My plants are very envious of living next to her plants because her plants get the love and care that every plant deserves. I didnt just model for people at my photography conference, I took a lot of photos too. Because, I am who I am. Some people go to this conference and don’t pick up their camera because it is all about vacation and learning not doing. And, i was like that day one. And then day two came and well... you see. With all the lovely faces around me how could I not capture everything?

Happy belated anniversary to .couch.books I’ve had so much fun over the last year falling back in love with reading all thanks to you. Not just romance books but other ones too. But it’s all because of you. I’ve made it so I find time for myself. And the wonderful books from your store make it fun for me to do so. My downtime isn’t always scrolling a phone anymore but picking up some books to read. So thank you again.

Girl. What a wonderful morning and day. Kicked off with a flower filled morning at with my sister and seeing a good old friend (sorry I didn’t get to say goodbye). Way too much coffee but it was wonderful. Followed up by .couch.books anniversary (more video on that later). Grad party for our nephew and wrapped it up with a photo job in lovely weather with an amazing family.

Bonus of traveling with a bunch of photographers once a year… getting new killer headshots once a year. And lots of them...

Bonus of traveling with a bunch of photographers once a year… getting new killer headshots once a year. And lots of them. .photo rocked it.
